An initial consultation via phone call is FREE. The meeting will be a time to ask questions, discuss concerns, and determine if a speech-language assessment is appropriate. Contact Megan to schedule an initial consultation.

Speech and Orofacial Myology assessments identify potential communication difficulties and orofacial myofunctioal disorders. It also provides the opportunity to develop an individualized plan for treatment, and time to discuss outside referrals (if necessary). Caregivers will be asked to complete a case history form prior to the assessment.

At Seabird Speech Therapy, Megan offers individualized, family centered, speech therapy services to toddlers, children, and adolescents. Her goal is to provide personalized care to each of her clients and to help them achieve their communication and development goals.
Fees and Access to Care
Seabird Speech Therapy is primarily a private-pay practice. Most clients choose to pay directly for services in order to receive flexible scheduling, individualized care, and a therapy approach not restricted by insurance requirements.

However, Seabird Speech Therapy is in-network with select insurance plans, including Anthem Blue Cross, Cigna, and United Healthcare. A limited number of therapy slots are available for insurance-based clients.

Insurance services are provided at the contracted rate set by the insurance provider. Clients are responsible for any applicable copays, coinsurance, or deductible amounts as determined by their individual plan.
Because insurance-based care involves additional administrative requirements and reimbursement restrictions, availability for these services is limited.

Private Pay & Out-of-Network Benefits

Private-pay clients may choose to use their HSA or out-of-network benefits if their insurance plan allows.
Upon request, Seabird Speech Therapy can provide a detailed superbill for clients to submit to their insurance company for potential reimbursement.
Reimbursement is not guaranteed and is determined solely by the client’s insurance plan.

Community Care Rates
​
Seabird Speech Therapy also reserves a small number of Community Care spots for individuals or families experiencing financial hardship who may not otherwise be able to access services.
​
Community Care rates are reduced private-pay fees and are offered on a limited basis.
Eligibility is determined through self-reported need, and availability is reviewed periodically.
Community Care spots are limited and may not always be available.
